9" Carbon Steel French Skillet
Available Dec 2nd, 2024. Newquist Forge is a small artisanal blacksmith shop in the Pacific Northwest. We make a limited number of cookware and tools each year. Sign up on our mailing list to receive shop updates.
The carbon steel French Skillet is hand forged and comes pre-seasoned. The skillet makes wonderful fish, eggs, and crepes, and is great for searing, caramelizing and baking. Handle stays comfortable while you cook.
With a little practice, you can learn to cook delicate food like fish and eggs with no sticking, and the flavor is divine.
Carbon steel pans are iron pans, forged rather than cast, which makes them lighter and easier to handle, and quicker to season. They can take high temperatures and they can go from stove top, to oven, to table.
